Waterworld -

This award winning park has received over 25 International Awards for its imagination, marketing strategies and appearance. Its ambiance, based on ancient Greek mythology and the many facilities it offers, ensures and very pleasant day out for all guests. Be sure to arrive early for your fun packed day there is so much to do.

Aqua Mania -  Pernera

This new water park to the area boasts seven water slides for teenagers and adults, a toddlers' area for 2-6 year olds including four water slides and a lazy river.

Blue flag beaches

The blue flag is annually awarded to beaches that comply with a list of criteria ranging from, water quality to environmental education and information to beach area management and safety. Aquarium

Protaras Ocean Aquarium, home of 1,000+ species, such as piranhas, stingrays, turtles, crocodiles, penguins and many more. Relax, unwind and delve into the depths of the exciting and diverse underwater world or take a walk in the beautiful 12,500m2 tropical gardens.

An experience everybody can enjoy, a spectacular voyage through the rivers, lakes and Oceans of the world. Pottery place - Protaras

The Pottery Place is a "paint your own pottery" studio where all the family can create their own one-of-a-kind souvenir, or gift. Anyone, any age can produce their very own masterpiece. The Pottery Place is very popular with locals and due to its central location in Protaras, also fantastic for tourists. The idea is simple - pick your piece of pottery, paint it, and then return a couple of days later to collect your item once it has been glazed and fired. The ladies who run The Pottery Place are brilliant and really great with the children. They are helpful with everything from assisting in choosing items, paint colours, and keeping the kids engaged with the activity. They are also great for a coffee and chat!

Wine trips

Cyprus has been a vine-growing and wine-producing country for many years, making it the perfect place to tour vineyards and wineries and enjoy some diverse tastes as you go. Internationally, Cyprus is best known for Commandaria wine. Most wine production remains based on a few varieties of local grapes such as Mavro and Xynisteri although international varieties are also cultivated.

Although, chronologically, Cyprus belongs to the old world of wine producing countries, the industry has gone through changes that place it more on par with the new world.

You can enjoy the best Cyprus wines by touring the vineyards and wineries. A warm welcome will await you – and some sensational wines too. Cooperative wineries of the region, operating within an internationally accepted and protected zone, are well worth a visit.

Bus tours

Discover the real Cyprus away from the beaches and resorts. On a double decker bus tour you will be above the crowds allowing great views of the places of interest. Boat trips

You will find numerous boat trips available all over the island, just take a walk to the sea and you will be sure to find information on all the trips provided. Probably the most famous boat trip is the Black Pearl which can be found at Agia Napa harbour. The Black Pearl Pirate Boat Agia Napa is the Biggest Pirate Boat ever to plunder the Mediterranean Sea. The trip is a Family Orientated Cruise, which is fun for all ages, No matter what age you are you are guaranteed a lot of laughs and memories to cherish by stepping back into the past, where pirates ruled the high seas.

Fishing

For a fantastic experience on-board a deep sea fishing vessel try one of the many trips on offer. Dependent on the time of year, fishing by: Trawling (Rod), Drifting (Rod), Long Line & Hook& Line.

Fishing for: Tuna, King Fish, Barracuda, Hunter, Spanish mackerel, Red Snapper, White Snapper, White Mullet, Grey Mullet, Mouse Fish, Pig Fish, Flat Fish and more....

Golf

Golf is somewhat new to the island of Cyprus. The Cyprus Golf Federation was established in 2000 and its main aim was to encourage and control golf on the island. The number of golf courses has more than doubled since the introduction of the CGF and with lots of exciting plans afoot, it’s an exciting time for golf in Cyprus.

As it’s relatively new to the golfing world there are only seven golf courses in Cyprus; one in the north and six in the south. However whatever it lacks in quantity is certainly made up for by the sheer quality and diversity of the courses.

Diving

Cyprus has something for everyone. The local diving conditions are excellent with visibility up to 40 meters in warm blue seas. Marine life is profuse with up to 200 species of fish gather in the waters around Cyprus.

The diving is varied, we have one of the most famous wrecks in the world, the 200 meter ferry Zenobia, and abundance of smaller wrecks scatter the coastline, as well as excellent reefs and drop off's.

Snorkeling

The warm climate of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus attracts visitors seeking fun in the sun year-round. Beaches range from quiet, secluded locations to crowded party scenes, all of which offer opportunities for those who wish to explore the ocean by snorkeling.

Snorkeling in Cyprus can be great fun, if you know where to go. In the summer months the sea is very warm and usually very clear. On the east coast of Cyprus near Protaras and Agia Napa two recommended places are, Konnos Bay and from the beach near Agia Anagiri church. Also the reefs at Cavo Greco.

Jeep Safari

Troodos Jeep Safari is a definite must during your holiday in Cyprus. Visit the green heart of the island, "the Troodos Mountains" where time has stood still and long standing local traditions are still practiced.

During the Troodos jeep safari you will meet the locals, visit forgotten villages, gaze upon breath-taking views from the summit of mount Olympus and feast upon scrumptious local delicacies.

Water sports

Due to the guaranteed climate in Cyprus, you will find a massive range of water sports activities from, surfing, sailing, parasailing and kayaking, through to jet-skiing and power boating,. There are over 25 different sports to choose from, catering to all tastes and abilities. With so many to choose from the decision is entirely yours.

Walking

Cyprus is excellent for enjoying some walks whilst on holiday - with quite often the opportunity to visit and enjoy some of the great beaches during the walks. Whilst out walking we advise having a decent hat, good walking boots as well as plenty of water with you.

Walking in Cyprus is a delight. Historic villages and breath-taking coastal views add to the serenity of the climate and wonderfully clear air.

Cycling

With its all year round warm weather conditions and numerous possibilities for both Mountain biking and Road Biking. You can choose whether you want serious sports training or more recreational cycling, just taking in the breath-taking views around the Island. Experience the island’s culture, history and wonderful scenery from the saddle of a bike.

A cycle tour enables you to come across things which you would probably miss from inside a car. A chance encounter with a local, a stunning landscape to linger over, the sights and sounds of nature from up close, an ancient ruin or a secluded cove.

Follow one of the many cycling routes or even make your own. Set the pace you desire whether training or leisure and fill your lungs with fresh air while making your bit to fight global warming and protect the environment.

Horse riding

If you want to get the kids into horses and riding then this is ideal. Ride through sprawling acres of untouched terrain with an experienced instructor. Ride in some of the best countryside in Cyprus, as yet unspoilt by the encroachment of tourism. Cantering along sandy beaches and trekking into the hills. If it appeals to you then give it a try.
